Max Martin and E-type forms a heavyrock-band
These were the news from the Swedish magazine OKEJ 2/2000. E-type once played in a heavyrock-band called Manninya Blade (1987-88), but he got kicked out and ever since he has dreamed of getting back to the heavyrock scene. And now it's finally come true for E-type. It's his career which he never got.
It's kind of the "failed hardrockers" revenche so that's why the super-producer Max Martin and E-type formed this band!
The new band which doesn't yet have a name is represented as follows:
E-type (called "Bone Rangel" in this band) - Drums Max Martin (called "Martin White" from the former heavyrock-band called "It's Alive") - Vocals Per Aldeheim (former member of "It's Alive") - Guitar Mikael Pitele (called "Mike Phillips") - Guitar Peter Kahm (also former member of "It's Alive") - Bass
The first single is set to be released in May and it's called "Boogie Man". The song is about the the ugly and mean men that American parents tell their children about like "if you're not kind, the boogie man will come to get you" =)
Later on they are going to release an EP with 4 songs and then there might be a tour.
But E-type fans don't have to worry, because it says that E-type will not give up his solo-career. A new E-type album will come (we just don't know when yet)
Also E-type has made 2 new songs which will be released outside Sweden. We don't know for which album/single/compilation these 2 songs are for
