Only 5 days to go before the big premiere of the Loud Pipes Save Lives Tour 2004 which will take place at Sundspärlan in Helsingborg and fans can really begin to look forward to it. We have some really interesting official news from within the lion's cage about the upcoming tour.

The band are into their 3rd week of rehearsals, and everything is going great, even though it is a bit new for them. New because there are a lot of new faces this year. Frank Rönningen, Danne Eklund, Andreas Dahlbäck, Staffan Brodén, Ida Engström and Helene Genym are not a part of the band compared to the last summer tour. But we have a comeback to Tomas Bergquist from the Frying Demons Tour 1999 and Linda Andersson who were on the Euro Metal Tour 2003!

The new guys in the band are the following:

Keyboardist Johan Lyander
Keyboardist Jonas Gröning
Drummer Andreas “Habo” Johansson
Vocalist Dea Norberg

... and they do a great job and blend in really well, as well as they contribute to a somewhat new, fresh sound. To those of you who are wondering about Nana Hedin and Dee not being a part of the tour, here's the reason. Nana Hedin is touring with Jonas Gardell whereas Dee is really busy with her studies. Therefore neither of them can join the band on tour this time.

The rehearsals take place in a brand new rehearsal studio in the south parts of Stockholm, 8 hours a day, making them all miss out on the lovely, sunny weather...

On this tour Martin and the band are going for a sweet mix of “Must-play”-material, oldies and songs from the new album. Official playlist is not available though but as soon as we get the green light it will be online. Some of the stuff they have played earlier are played in new versions this time, and it is really starting to sound really cool - so our source tells us!
