Today E-type wrote a little diary entry on his official website. In this "blog" he wrote about the trip to St. Petersburg where he and Dee performed together with Dr. Alban, East 17 and other older groups. He also joked a bit about getting his 2nd good review by the Swedish media in his entire career. Well - that might be a bit of an exaggeration :)

The main part though is that he is working hard in the studio on his new album and Max Martin has already approved the first single. This sounds really promising for us fans considering all the hits that Max Martin has written and produced throughout the years!

Any speculation on a release date for E-Type's new single. I would guess around April/May and maybe an album to follow in early fall. I really hope he either tries a new style or has a heavy guitar section in it, ala the Explorer.

I cannot wait to hear the new single! I love all of E-Type's music but I would like to see him try a different style of music. Something a bit rockier but still using the same format, ie, him singing the verse and Nana Hedin (or whoever) singing the chorus. They style of Evanescence would be interesting. I would still like to find some dance songs on the new album too!

does NOT have any potention for making new hits in
Sweden ...

We know E-Type as the EURODANCE KING ... not as a person
who is making a little bit of everything ... :)

So keep up doing the good work :)
and make a mix between all the albums ...

By the way ... I like to hear something like:
Set The World On Fire Reloaded
This Is The Way reloaded

but most of all ;) something like:
Will I See You Again 2007 ;)

We all know that no matter what style E-Type decides to add to is new album it will be great. Besides the basic E-Type album alway has a formula as follows: Pure Euro as the main style + 1 or 2 experimental songs + 1 pop song.

The euro songs usually combine elements as rock or Middle Eastern. His experimental songs (Me No Want Mesaria, So Far Away, Borjeschi, Forever More etc.) are always a great addition to the albums but never to be released as Singles IMO. I would love to see a big mix of Chanting, Rock, Euro, 1 Pop, a new inventive twist would be awsome as well.

Oh well we'll just have to wait and see. Please please just stay away from Country music (Country and Dance are polar opposites), was the worst idea ever and I'm so glad he didn't do it.

I don't know if it is an album or a single (I am assuming it is a single though), but it is called "True Believer"! There is not a release date set on the site, but it must be within the next couple of months!!!
