Hi everyone... I wrote poem for a friend at school and I promised to let him read it but I don't want him to be able to read immediatly. I want him to try and find out what it means... Which is very hard for him, since he is Chinese and doesn't even speak Dutch but I like my fun! So I want to translate it in Swedish... Now I tried but please tell me if I did a good job! I'll first write the English version and then my version in Swedish...!!

Well the snow here in Holland melted ALL about three days ago... But the happiness is actually the thought of the boy I wrote it for, his name is Lei, and he is very sweet.... I made another option btw, I translated it in Dutvh, which is just as hard...

I liked your poem. Seems a bit like you are having a crush on that guy, huh?
Anyway, I hope someone Swedish will comment on the translation, it is not quite correct Swedish... but at the moment being, I can't translate it, since a) I have no Swedish characters in my Turkish keyboard and b) I can't remember the equivalent words to all the ones in the English version.
But you've done a great job on it anyway :)

yes I do think I have a crush on him but there is this weird thing going on here at school that Chinese girls are allowed to hang around Dutch guys but Dutch girls aren't allowed around Chinese guys... Why? I have noooo idea, it's a bit weird, as if it is competitive... Too bad but lucky for me, I think he likes me back hahaha!!

A good friend of me is chinese (or from Hongkong ... dont know exactly ... ) but he also has a Frisian/Dutch girlfriend ...
so ... there is hope :D

yeah we really have got snow here in the Netherlands!
Last saturday I have been making snowmans (or however you want to call it) when I came out of the dancing ... soooooooooooo :D
we have snow here YEAH YEAH ...
now not anymore ... cause it is all melted now ...
(almost all :P) ...

"Where is the last year snow" is the line (better to say, it's refrain) from "BALLADE ABOUT THE BELLE DAMES OF THE PAST", written by Villon (1431-1456)... Think, it's a greatest hit of 15 century :)
And also... Do you love RAMMSTEIN's song SEHNSUCHT, like I do? Do you remember?
"Such den Schnee vom letzten Jahr
doch es ist kein Schnee mehr da"
it means:
"I search the last-year snow,
Though the snow will never be back" or maybe "though the snow eill never return... never more"... something like that.

Hej Lena,
I know Rammstein but I don't know the song you're reffering to. I'm not a too big Rammstein fan.. I like their "Ich will" but that's because my bother kept playing when we both still lived at home.
The other one I also don't know. But that's okay.
