Once again we can celebrate an anniversary here at www.etype.dk. This year is our 8th year online which is quite a long time. Unfortunately the last few years have been pretty slow as for the development of the site is concerned but I really hope that we can be able to develop a completely new site for you all, so it can be online sometime in 2007. We'll keep you all posted about this :)

Last year the visitor count was at 631.400 visitors, and this year is says 749.000. This means that we have had a total visitor-count of 117.600 people from November 25th last year to now which is amazing compared to last time we summed it up, where we only had 92.000 visitors in a year, so the number has increased quite a lot this year. We thank every visitor for support us throughout the years, and we hope you will keep on supporting us hopefully for a lot of more years to come.

As mentioned before - we are currently in the process of working out ideas for a completely new and updated E-type website seeing as how this design has been around for almost 6½ years now. It's time to freshen up the look a bit and both make new features as well as enhance the usability of the site in general. Stingbat (Co-webmaster) and I will soon sit down together and work out various ideas as to how the new site should look like, what it should contain and how we will approach it all. After the brainstorming I will spend some time putting up ideas for the general design of the new site and then we will be well under way. Hopefully I will be able to tell you guys about the progress of the work during the whole developing stage so you won't be left out of the loop on this :)

In conclusion - to celebrate our 8 year anniversary we would like to invite you all to a special chat-event at www.etype.dk taking place next Saturday - December 2nd. I will write the exact time of day tomorrow as we haven't quite figured that out yet. In this chat-event we will bring forth our new chat which is way better than the old chat and more stable. It will also be possible for you all to bring your own ideas as for the new site is concerned. Great ideas may be rewarded.
